Dogpile

I could hear our goalie gasping for breath as my hockey team dogpiled on him. We just had won the championship, and our goalie had played a great game. The sonic boom of the parents cheering was so loud that I got little dizzy. We almost could have started an earthquake.

Everyone was ecstatic, except for the other team. Their faces were covered with tears. Their distraught faces were reflected on the faces of their parents. At that time they were wheeling the cart out which carried our trophies. The gold and teal glittered in my eyes, and I was almost blinded. When I saw it shining in my eyes, I got gold fever and wanted it to happen all over again. I mostly remember the shell of teal jerseys, which was really my team in a dog pile. It looked like a sea turtle's back.
